🧪 629 new positive COVID-19 cases to make a total of 3006 active cases throughout the Mackay, Isaac and Whitsunday local government areas.
🏥 7 are in the COVID-19 Ward at Mackay Base Hospital and 43 are in Mackay Base Hospital Virtual Ward.

We believe the increase is due to a data backlog being resolved. The data is a combination of PCR testing done by the Mackay HHS, by private pathology providers and home RAT results people have lodged at www.qld.gov.au/rat-positive
